[Event 100] Throwing Beans
As a part of Event 100, we went to Sumiyoshi Jinja shrine for its Setsubunsai (end-of-winter festival)!
This year we had 5 students! His/her age are at the same Chinese zodiac sign as the current year.
They yelled just-learned keywords “Oni-wa-soto, Fuku-wa-uchi (鬼は外、福は内)” meaning “Out with the demons. In with good fortune” and threw soy beans at the crowd as a ritual.
